Super-Dad

Super-Dad

(with a nod to Superman)

Voices:  Up in the sky, look!  It's a bird...It's a plane...I't's SUPER-DAD!

In the endless reaches of the universe, there once existed a planet called Chore Land, a planet that spun around in six directions at one time.  There, civilization was far advanced and it brought forth a race of "supermen" whose motto was "So little to do.  So much time."  There came a day when a cloud of boredom descended over the planet and threatened to destroy Chore Land forever.

One of the planet's leading scientists, sensing doom, placed one teeny weeny baby into a small rocket ship and sent it hurtling in the direction of the Laborastory, just as Chore Land fizzled into oblivion.  The rocket ship sped through star-studded space, landing, with a great splash, in the Laborastory's cranberry bog.  Dr. I.M.A. Stalk, who had tracked the rocket ship's descent with his giant, telescopic EYEBALL, rescued Chore Land's sole survivor and called him Superperson.

As the years went by and the teeny weeny baby grew up, he found that he possessed amazing powers-Faster than a speeding volleyball, more powerful than an EverReady battery, able to leap traffic jams in a single bound.  The infant of Chore Land is now the Man Who Dislikes Doing Nothing:  Super-Dad!

To best be in a position to use his amazing powers in a never-ending quest for Quality time with his kids, Super-Dad has mastered the skill of moving his six mighty arms- one for petting Super Dog, one for hugging Super Bear, one for spooning choclate ice cream into his gaping jaw, one for operating the Wii remote, and one each for tickling his Super Kids.

So next time you're out walking, minding your own business, and you think that a giant yellow insect wearing blue pants has dashed by- think again, my friend, you have witnessed the power of Super-Dad, spinning in six directions simultaneously, trying to get everything done!

I like the story -- I'm sure the real Super-Dad will like it too!
