Creaple

The Story of Creaple
Horatio: There's a wounded baby bird
Stuck on a steeple
Who could come to resue it?
Maria: I know, call Creaple
He's got a vertical jump
That's brought him basketball fame
It will come in very handy
In the rescuing game
Horatio: Where do I find him?
Where do I call
I'm getting really worried
That the fledgling will fall
Maria: Check the music center
Creaple often goes there
He likes to play piano
He's got talent to spare
Or he might be dancing disco
In a studio space
He's hardly ever sleeping
He's all over the place
Horatio: I really must locate him
Chirper's starting to freeze
Maria: I just thought of how to reach him!
MACARONI AND CHEESE
He was out on the lacrosse field
When the scent wafted in
He hopped on his "moder cicle"
And tore off in a spin
Horatio/Maria: Creaple can you help us?
Creaple are you brave?
There's a wounded baby bird
That we need you to save
It has gotten so dark out
Can you even see?
Creaple: Jack packed my light saber
That will help to guide me
And holding skyward
The bright beam of light
Creaple jumped a mighty jump
Up into the night
When he landed
Back down on the ground
He made a motion with his "hand"
To not make a sound
Creaple: Loud noises will scare
This wee little bird
It will probably be helpful
If we don't say a word
When he handed the fledgling
To his friend Marie
She smiled her thanks and said
"You're such a hero to me."
Horatio painted a remembrance
Of that night in the park
When Creaple saved the chirper
In the cold and the dark
He would have rather made a statue
Of the Morph and the Peeps
But statues gave the very brave
Creaple the creeps!
