Meet Professor Electra, one of Laborastory's esteemed scientists.  This adventure-seeking Morphadoodle spends much of his time exploring planet earth on land and sea.  Even as a baby, Electra dreamed of living and traveling in a submarine.   His first words were "Up Periscope!"  His stiff spiked toes help him scuttle up the Great Barrier Reef or climb the snow-capped Himalayas.  At one time, he had spikes on each shoulder to protect him from being snatched up by hungry seagulls, but he broke a pair off so that a dragon with a toothache could use it to floss.  Daily exercise is an important part of the purple professor's morning routine.  Athough generally a happy fellow, Electra can get crabby if he misses a workout.  You will see this when he begins to walk sideways across the floor.  To build his strength (mentally and physically), he carries his favorite book - The World Atlas- wherever he goes.  A well-known explorer and photographer, Electra keeps copious notes in his journal which is filled with observations, questions, sketches, little-known facts and eye-popping trivia.  One day he hopes to use the contents of his journal to publish a book.
