Isabella

"Isabella? Isabella? Where are you?" cried the morphadoodles as they raced around the Lab searching for their time traveler. "Whoooo knows where I can be found?" she giggled as she soared invisible above them. "I have stars in my eyes and magic in my mind." In one swoop, she froze her friends in mid motion and began to read from her list. "Today's to Doodle-Do: First I'm off to Spain 1492 to watch my namesake give Columbus the nod for his adventure, then I'll go to England 1877 to watch the first Wimbeldon tennis match. Then, I'll stop off at Cynthia's planet for a quick bite of jello, and then maybe, just maybe, I'll head to 1503 Italy to get some serious drawing lessons from Leonardo if he can tear himself away from painting that lady with the odd smile. And I will do this all before school starts today." She smiled at her friends' statue-like faces. "I know what you're thinking. Rome wasn't built in a day. Wait a minute. When was Rome built? 753 B.C.? Ooh! If I travel that far back, I will probably need a note explaining my lateness. Now how does that spell work again? Make Tuesday a snooze day and stay in bed, no homework to do, it could hurt your head? Hmmm. No vegetable will ever be in my home, 23 skidoo, off to ancient Rome."
