Ever since baby Peter batted his first spoon of cereal across the kitchen table right into his mother's eye, he knew his future was in baseball.  Instead of his first words being "Mama" or "Dada", they were "Go Yankeedoodles!"  At breakfast his pancake was never round- it was diamond-shaped.  As a matter of fact, as he grew up, he would only eat his meals from Home Plate.  His family loved and encouraged him and only worried when he insisted on sliding into bed head first.  Ouch!!  Peter has a dog he loves named Jorge Posada.  Why, you ask?  Because he's a really great catcher!  A cool and happy guy, Peter only has one fear: bats (The nocturnal kind- not the wooden ones- THAT wouldn't make sense),  But luckily, he has an extensive hat collection- great for keeping creepy, upside-down-hanging, blood-sucking mini mammals from getting tangled in his hair when his team is playing under the lights.  Where can you see him next?  Check the roster for Spring Training 2008- his name is right under his hero's Derek Jeter.  His number?  Seven- to match his age.
